July 9, 2017. We all carry burdens. Life can seem wearisome, especially in this time when we all seem so polarized, sorting ourselves into like-minded groups and listening only to those with whom we agree. In her sermon today, Pastor Penny preaches on Matthew 11:25-30. Jesus offers rest for our souls, for his yoke is easy and his burden is light.
