Renovation Update

Construction has begun!  A lot is happening around the church this week, but our contractors will be working hard to have things ready for us to Worship in person the next several weeks! Here is an update of what is happening this week.

The electrical work for Phase  1 of the Audio Video equipment & wiring relocation has been completed! Zoom hosting from the chapel began on 4/21 and will continue from there going forward. Please note that due to temporary placement of the camera, angles will be slightly different than usual during the transition.

A plan has been developed, with Organist Mark Ruff’s input, to cover and protect the organ, pipes, and organ blower during the construction.

Again, mark your calendars for the Renovation Work Day, April 27, 8:30am-12:30pm!

The  SE side door of our building is now set up for contractor access only, but the SW side door and the front doors are still available for everyone to use.

Capital Campaign Update

We have great news to share! You’ll recall that our campaign goal is $900,000 plus, and as of this week we have commitments that bring us to over 90% of what we need to Open the Way! Thanks to those who have made wonderfully generous gifts to bring us this far. We also have heard from many of you that your commitment cards will be coming soon, which can bring us over the top! We know we can exceed our goal and create a compelling “Welcome” to all who join us in God’s work at CLC. We hope all of us will choose to be part of this once- in-a-generation campaign in whatever way is meaningful to you.

If you need more campaign information or commitment cards, please reach out to Katie Ciorba or Kevin Drollinger. In the meantime, thanks to all of you for your amazing dedication and commitment to launch a new chapter for CLC!
