August 27, 2017. Pastor Keith’s sermon today is on Matthew 16:13-20. Jesus tells Peter that his faith is the rock upon which he will build his church. Such faith is hard and immovable. But it is also tender and forgiving. Peter was assertive, and was an effective leader of the early church. And like Peter, Jesus has given us too the keys of the kingdom. We too have the ability to forgive one another, to be bold, and to speak up for our faith.
