Youth Group

Sunday morning Youth Group meets at 9:15 a.m. with Mike Hoyer as our guide, in the Youth Room at the Arden Mead Center for Youth and Community. You are welcome to join us for as we focus on our personal relationship with God. We will be looking at our lives, pop culture, the weekly readings in worship and so many other areas of existence to build our relationship.

Mission Trip 2010 has been selected. Deadline for open registration is September 23rd. Are you interested in serving your neighbors? Do you love meeting new people from all over the country? Do you want to participate in an event that will change your life? July 9-17, 2010 could be that chance for all of the above as the high school youth group will be traveling to Brighton, TN to do home repairs. This is western Tennessee cotton country, beautiful country with hardworking individuals and families hit by the changes in the economy. Your servanthood, expressed through the use of a paint brush, hammer or saw, will bring a sense of pride back to this community. Total cost to the youth for the mission trip is $250, with a deposit of $50 needed to be registered. Check with Craig or read the Youth and Family News in the September newsletter.

FEBRUARY 7, 2010 - Ram-Wich submarine sandwich orders made by the Youth Group to be picked up before and after the 8 & 10:30 a.m. services. Cost - $8.00 each, regular or veggie.

FEBRUARY 21 - 'Be Like Jesus' Parents informational meeting at Mead Center

FEBRUARY 26 - YRU16 Winter retreat for Youth, Feb. 26-28

MARCH 5,6 - 'Be Like Jesus' 24-hour servant event

MARCH 26, 27 - 30-Hour Famine

APRIL 10 - Agape Concert, 7 p.m., at the Arden Mead Center for Youth & Community

JUNE 21-25 - ConfirCamp at Camp Wartburg
