One worship service at 9:30 a.m. through July and August

Fall and Winter Sunday Worship Schedule:
Holy Communion starts at 8:00 & 10:30 AM Coffee Fellowship after each service.

Education Hour starts at 9:15 AM. Adult Education and Confirmation Class are held at the Church.

Youth Sunday School Classes are held at 17 N. Selma

 

  
     

WOMEN'S GROUP

February, 2008

"It is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God." -- Ephesians 2:8

As we journey with Jesus to Calvary, let us remember His sacrifice and gifts to us.

The Women's Group had a journey in January when 12 of us met at the home of Joan Rivas for our Epiphany Party. Three of our group were unable to join us and we missed them. After a catered luncheon, we had a short meeting in which we voted to send $500 to King of Glory School, located in the city and $500 to the family whose home was destroyed by fire on New Year's Eve.

Our Lenten journey will take us to the Fellowship Hall in February were we will arrange fresh flowers for our own gifts. Please bring a low flower container and flower cutters or shears, and a sandwich for lunch, on February 13 at 11;30 a.m. at the church. Beverages and dessert will be provided. We will each go home with a Valentine!

As we journey through life, remember to thank the Good Lord for all the many blessings He has bestowed upon us.
