One worship service at 9:30 a.m. through July and August

Fall and Winter Sunday Worship Schedule:
Holy Communion starts at 8:00 & 10:30 AM Coffee Fellowship after each service.

Education Hour starts at 9:15 AM. Adult Education and Confirmation Class are held at the Church.

Youth Sunday School Classes are held at 17 N. Selma

 

  
     

LENT AND EASTER

LENTEN MIDWEEK OBSERVANCES.

Lent midweek observances continue on Wednesdays, March 5 and 12. Abbreviated worship is at 7:00 p.m. with Vespers and a dramatic diaglog. A light supper is served at 6:00 p.m. to which all are invited.

HOLY WEEK

Holy Week begins on Palm Sunday, March 16. Processions with palms will begin at the Arden Mead Center, 17 Selma, at 8:00 and 10:30 a.m. and go to the Sanctuary at 1 Selma, for those who are able. We hear about the passion of our Lord though the view of Matthew.

Maundy Thursday worship will be at 7:00 p.m. on March 20. Holy Communion is celebrated during the worship.

Good Friday is March 21. At noon we will worship at Emmanuel Episcopal church, Bompart at Lockwood, in a combined service. At 7:00 p.m. Emmanuel Episcopal will worship with us at Christ Lutheran. The choir will sing the cantata "Harvest of Sorrows" by Joseph M. Martin as the feature of the service which takes us to the foot of the Cross.

EASTER

On Easter our Festival Services are at 8:00 and 10:30 a.m. An Easter Brunch is served between the services in the Fellowship Hall, beginning at 9:15. a.m. The ham is provided for the Brunch and those attending are asked to bring a dish to share. An Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by the Youth for the children will be held at 9:15 a.m. in the Church Yard. Everyone is invited to participate in all the activities.
