Groundbreaking Blessing!

After Worship, April 14
Plan to join us after Worship for a brief celebration and blessing of the groundbreaking for our renovation! We will gather in the parking lot right outside the entry toward the front of the church. Come ready to dig and celebrate!

Eclipse Glasses Collection

There will be another eclipse on Oct 2nd, visible in parts of South America and Hawaii, as well as several more eclipses in other parts of the world in the next couple years. There are a couple science education organizations that collect undamaged eclipse glasses and provide them to school children in places where they’re otherwise unavailable.

If anyone is interested in recycling yours , please deliver them to Barbara Rose Hughes and she will mail them.

April 28 Parking Lot Access

On Sunday, April 28, the Parent’s Club for the High School is having a fundraiser which will impact access to our parking lot. They are having a pickleball tournament from 8:00am-6:00pm, and will be closing Selma Ave south of the soccer field.

The Parent’s Club will be placing signage and have someone stand at the entrance to our parking lot that morning to ensure access for Worship attendees, and direct participants in the pickleball tournament to other parking.

On April 28, we can easily access our parking lot and street parking on Selma as usual from Lockwood, but will not be able to come down Selma from Big Bend. Please adjust your route accordingly!

And, if you would like to support the High School by playing, all are welcome to participate!

Contact Pastor Meagan if you have any questions or concerns!

Humanitri Project: Summer Fun Bags!

Sunday May 19, 9:15am
Christian Service coordinates a service project to include all members of the congregation during the education hour. We are collecting designated items to pack Summer Fun Bags for the children that Humanitri serves.  Please sign up here for items that you can donate. During the education hour, we will work to write notes to the children, assemble the bags and bless them for distribution. If you have any questions, please contact Sarah Mudd or Sherry Mitchler. Thank you for everyone’s continued support to those in our community!
